While your children are in our care we aim to give them
the best
possible start in life, by offering a safe, secure and stimulating environment. We will help your children to develop a wide range of skills which will help
them in their future lives.
We are constantly pursuing excellence in education and childcare so you can be
assured that your children are in the best possible place. Actively working with
our parents we are able to identify and cater for the individual.
Our aim is to encourage children to succeed and grow in independence,
motivation and self confidence.

We strongly believe in the importance of play and that there is much to be gained from this process. Learning through play encourages and enables children to be inquisitive. It is the prevailing view of childcare professionals today and is backed by extensive research in child development.
Our staffing teams at all sites are highly skilled and
motivated. They are fully dedicated to the care of your children.
All staff are encouraged to continue training so they have up to date knowledge
and expertise.
We always care for your children within the ratios and guideline as set by OFSTED :
In the event of sickness and absence of our staff, we have contingency arrangements in place and are able to source quality staff at short notice.
All our staff have undergone police checks carried out by the criminal records bureau to ensure they are suitable to work with children .
As required by OFSTED we have a full list of policies and procedures in place that are used at our settings. They go towards ensuring health and safety and quality of our provision. We have included a brief introduction to some of our policies in this section. A full version of policies and procedures is available on request.

Health and Safety
We operate within and attempt to exceed all standards set by the health and
safety authorities. This includes promoting a good hygiene standard,
carrying out regular risk assessments and completing fire drills etc.
Equal Opportunities
We view equal opportunities as being an important issue across the board, from
employment of staff, to the enrolling and day to day care of children. No one
is ever discriminated against on the grounds of race, religion, sex or
disability, and we actively encourage positive attitudes towards others.
Behaviour Management
It is essential to the philosophy of the nursery that all staff should be
positive at all times towards the children, towards each other and towards the
nursery. Any issues arising with staff or children will be dealt with
appropriately and confidentially.
Child Protection
The welfare of all children is of paramount importance. Our nurseries
ensure that all staff are adequately trained and are aware of child protection
procedures.
Complaints
It is of paramount importance that the nursery should run smoothly and that
parents and staff work together for the child's best interest. In the event of a
complaint from either staff or parents, every effort will be made to
rectify the situation and resolve any issues promptly and to the satisfaction of
all involved.
